Quinceañera

Quinceañera - sometimes called Fiesta de Quinceañera, or simply quince, is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of immigrants from Latin America.


This birthday is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.







It was an absolute pleasure for us to photograph this event. We had a great time with Beatriz and her family. Beatriz is a very talented and sweet girl. Her family and friends made this celebration shine like an Oscars. Her sister Maria, chorus and musicians, cousins and friends with dance delight, choreographer, decoration and cuisine, light and sound everyone and everything was astonishing and unforgettable! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed it.

We had a great pleasure photographing Christine and Nate. We were moved by the intensity of care and consideration these two have for each other. They listen with their eyes. They hug with their smiles. They laugh with their hearts. They fully submersed in their blanket of happiness. We are grateful to bear witness of such contagious heartfelt expression of love.
